It is very common for dogs and cats to ingest foreign bodies ranging from bones to children’s toys and clothing. Many times each year we are called upon to remove such objects from the stomach and intestines because the animal cannot pass them. Please be aware of the possibility that your pet may be eating bones or garbage that it cannot digest, and watch for the warning signs of anorexia and vomiting.
