In Carleton Place, Beckwith and Mississippi Mills stray animals who are picked up by animal control are taken to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) in Smiths Falls. The office hours are 11-4, 7 days a week. Please file a lost pet report with them at www.lanarkanimals.ca or call 613-283-9308.
