Microchip Pet Identification

The most effective way ensure your pet is identified should it become lost is to use a small computer chip implanted under the skin on the nape of the neck. This chip can be detected with a hand held scanner that all pounds and veterinary clinics have on hand to scan every pet that is presented to them as a stray. The chip has a number that is unique to your pet and is registered with a central registry called PetNet. Please be sure to ask for a microchip when your pet is neutered. They can also be implanted in an office visit. We have had animals returned to their owners when lost travelling in the United States! Please ask us about this very safe and effective identification system.
